She lay in silent beauty unseen
Red dress bleeding upon the green
Sun warms her pale skin so fair
Soft wind combs through auburn hair
A sight to force the hardest heart to yield
Oh, the fair maiden of the clover field
It was a cold, sickly night when they stole her away
They flew far and sold her, to cruel King of the Fey
Her Love rode through darkness and searched long in vain
Oh never again would he feel such insufferable pain
At last he arrived at gates bitter and torn
And was fast turned away, flesh by arrow was shorn
With a cry he begged they let his Love home
And received naught but laughter that chilled to the bone
That night like a thief he bested the walls
Crept to the tower and wandered its halls
He found her asleep his maiden so fair
Combed his hand gently through beautiful hair
She awoke with a start and tore fast away
For behind him there stood the King of the Fey
With cruel laughter mocking, the Fey withdrew blade
Her silent tears fell, begging His wrath to be stayed
They lay in silent beauty unseen
Red hearts bleeding under the green
Cold now is their pale skin so fair
Forever in twine lay their blood soiled hair
A thought to force the hardest heart to yield
Oh, the slain lovers beneath the clover field

Ever Restless Sleep
Ever Shadow reaches for me
Causes my heart to fall into her keep
Black Dream follows, Silent Cry echos
Oh their dread under my bed awaits
To awaken Ever Restless Sleep
Ever Shadow crawls and creeps
Is made from countless tendril heaps
Black Dream consists of naught but air
A deathly breeding, brooding fear
Silent Cry a severed walking tongue
Runs about devouring our young
And Ever Restless Sleep
The mother of them all
They move to her every whim and call
She causes youth to fade and eyes to bleed
She is the ever piercing, itching seed
